Job Description
Are you passionate about exploring digital worlds and ensuring every turn is accurate? HERE Technologies is looking for a Remote Game Map Tester with a keen focus on navigation and GPS functionality. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in verifying the accuracy and reliability of in-game maps, routes, and location-based features. You will meticulously test navigation paths, identify discrepancies in GPS tracking, and report on the overall user experience of map interaction within diverse gaming environments. Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test cases to verify the accuracy and completeness of in-game map data.
- Rigorously test navigation paths, routes, and points of interest for correctness and usability.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and inconsistencies related to GPS, mapping, and location-based features.
- Provide detailed and constructive feedback on the user experience of map interaction and navigation systems.
- Collaborate asynchronously with development and QA teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Stay updated on the latest game releases, mapping technologies, and navigation trends.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for discrepancies.
- Familiarity with GPS devices, mapping applications, or navigation systems.
- Ability to follow precise test plans and execute steps accurately.
