Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Remote Google Media Analyst with a strong focus on Content Strategy to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for optimizing our digital content’s performance across Google’s various media platforms, including Search, YouTube, and Display. You will be responsible for analyzing media performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to inform and evolve our content strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Google’s advertising ecosystem, content lifecycle, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of Google media performance data across various platforms (Google Search, YouTube, Display & Video 360) to identify content effectiveness and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and implement robust content measurement frameworks, including KPIs and dashboards, to track the impact of content strategies.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to content creators and marketing teams based on data analysis, influencing future content development and distribution.
- Perform competitive analysis to benchmark our content performance against industry leaders and identify best practices.
- Collaborate with SEO, SEM, and creative teams to ensure content strategy aligns with overall media objectives and audience engagement goals.
- Monitor industry trends and changes in Google's algorithms and platform capabilities to adapt and evolve content strategies proactively.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on content performance, communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to uncover deeper insights into user behavior and content consumption patterns.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in media analysis, digital marketing, or a related analytical role, with a focus on Google platforms.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, and other Google marketing platforms.
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles, SEO, and YouTube best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Google Looker Studio, Tableau).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications.
