Job Description
Join Rush Hair & Beauty as a Part-time Salon Stock Controller and become a pivotal member of our Southsea team. This organizational role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our salon by ensuring all retail and professional products are accurately managed, well-stocked, and readily available. You will be responsible for inventory control, order placement, receiving deliveries, and organizing storage areas, directly contributing to our salon’s efficiency and client satisfaction. This is an on-site position vital to the daily operations of our busy salon.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for all salon retail and professional products.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Place orders with suppliers based on stock levels and salon needs, ensuring optimal inventory without overstocking.
- Receive, inspect, and organize product deliveries, checking for accuracy and damage.
- Ensure all products are correctly priced and displayed on the salon floor.
- Organize and maintain clean, accessible stock rooms and storage areas.
- Assist with product rotation to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Collaborate with the salon manager and stylists to anticipate product demand.
- Report on stock levels and order statuses regularly.
Required Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move product boxes as needed.
