Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable School Cafeteria Table Wiper to join our team in Manchester. This part-time role is essential for maintaining a clean and hygienic dining environment for students during their midday meal breaks. You will be responsible for ensuring all cafeteria tables are promptly and thoroughly cleaned between sittings, contributing to a pleasant and safe atmosphere for our school community. This position operates during term time only, aligning with school holidays, and involves midday shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Wipe down and disinfect cafeteria tables thoroughly between lunch sittings.
- Ensure tables are free from food debris, spills, and sticky residues.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report needs to the cafeteria supervisor.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the dining area.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and school policies.
- Assist with other general cleaning duties in the cafeteria as directed.
- Work efficiently and effectively to ensure quick turnaround times between groups of students.
