Job Description
Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity to earn money on your own terms? Just Eat is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Scooter Delivery Riders to join our dynamic team in Glasgow. This role offers immediate starts and a flexible roster, perfect for those seeking part-time or contract work. As a Rider, you’ll be the face of Just Eat, delivering delicious meals from local restaurants directly to our hungry customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food orders from restaurants to customers' doors using a scooter.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining the quality and temperature of food items.
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting courteously and professionally.
- Manage delivery routes and schedules effectively using our rider app.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Handle payments and order adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and presentable scooter and personal appearance.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license with scooter endorsement (Category A or A1/A2/AM)
- Own scooter with valid MOT, insurance, and road tax
- Right to work in the UK
- Excellent knowledge of Glasgow's road network and local areas
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use a smartphone and our delivery app
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or courier role
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing great service
