Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Auditor to join our bustling logistics hub in Roseville, CA. This crucial role ensures the accuracy and integrity of all incoming and outgoing shipments, playing a vital part in maintaining our operational efficiency and customer trust. The Auditor will be responsible for meticulously checking documentation, verifying physical counts against manifests, and identifying discrepancies. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive audits of all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy of product, quantity, and documentation.
  • Verify shipping and receiving documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and internal transfer orders, for completeness and accuracy.
  • Conduct physical counts of inventory, compare against system records, and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Identify, document, and report damaged goods or missing items according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations, inventory control, and customer service teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain organized records of all audits and transactions for future reference.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary (certification preferred but training available).
  • Participate in periodic inventory counts and reconciliations.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory control environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, warehouse management systems).
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to discrepancy resolution.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or relevant certification in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Experience with SAP or other major Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Forklift certification or experience operating other material handling equipment.
  • Previous experience in an auditing or quality control role within a logistics setting.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and hazmat procedures.
