Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Sponsored Fruit Picking Staff to join our teams on government-approved farms within the Greater London area, specifically based out of our Croydon hub. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the agricultural sector, supported by a structured program ensuring fair wages, good working conditions, and professional development. You will be responsible for the careful and efficient harvesting of various fruits, adhering to strict quality and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick and harvest a variety of fruits (e.g., berries, apples) according to quality standards and picking protocols.
- Inspect fruit for quality, sorting and discarding any substandard produce.
- Pack harvested fruit into designated containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations on the farm.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily picking targets.
- Report any issues with crops or equipment to supervisors immediately.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Physical fitness and stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications
