Job Description

Hilton Garden Inn Torrance is seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Student Hospitality Host for morning shifts. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, assisting with luggage if needed.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and minor complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
  • Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Replenish food and beverage items during breakfast service.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, safety guidelines, and brand standards.

  • Strong work ethic and reliability, especially for early morning shifts.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a high school or post-secondary education program.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
