Job Description
Hamilton County Schools is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Substitute Music Teachers to join our team on a flexible, as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned music lessons and activities to students across various grade levels (elementary, middle, or high school) as assigned.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment consistent with school policies.
- Manage student behavior effectively and uphold school disciplinary procedures.
- Adhere to the regular teacher's instructions and school routines.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students under your supervision.
- Collaborate with school staff and administration as needed.
- Report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate school personnel.
- Leave clear and concise notes for the returning teacher regarding class progress and any issues encountered.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one musical instrument or vocal performance.

- Tennessee teaching license or substitute teaching permit.
