Job Description
Join our dynamic team at Tesco Gloucester as a Supermarket Assistant – All-Rounder. This role is perfect for enthusiastic individuals of all ages looking to contribute to a bustling retail environment. As an All-Rounder, you will be a vital part of our store operations, ensuring our customers have a pleasant and efficient shopping experience. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting customers with inquiries, locating products, and providing excellent service with a friendly attitude.
- Replenishing shelves and displays, ensuring products are well-stocked, neatly arranged, and correctly priced.
- Operating till systems and handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Receiving and processing deliveries, including unpacking and organizing stock in the storage area.
- Maintaining high standards of store cleanliness and presentation, including tidying aisles and cleaning spills.
- Supporting colleagues across various departments as needed to ensure smooth store operations.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic numeracy for handling transactions.
- Physical ability to lift and move stock and stand for extended periods.
