Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Top Fruit Picker focusing on Apples & Pears in Witney, Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to the agricultural sector. You will be responsible for carefully harvesting fruit, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining an efficient pace. We offer ongoing shifts, providing stable work during peak seasons and beyond for the right candidates. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick apples and pears from trees, ensuring fruit quality and minimizing damage.
- Follow specific picking instructions and quality guidelines for different varieties.
- Place harvested fruit into appropriate bins or containers with care.
- Work efficiently to meet daily picking targets.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations on the farm.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Report any fruit damage or tree health concerns to supervisors.
