Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented UPS Documentation Clerk with an engineering focus to join our remote team. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of technical documentation related to our logistics operations, infrastructure projects, and internal engineering initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high volume of documents, maintaining meticulous records, and collaborating with various engineering and operational teams to support project lifecycles. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a global logistics leader from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process, organize, and maintain a variety of technical and engineering documents, including schematics, reports, project plans, and specifications.
  • Ensure all documentation adheres to established company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize document management systems and other software to track, store, and retrieve documents efficiently.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy of documentation.
  • Prepare documentation packages for internal reviews, external audits, and project milestones.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of documentation procedures and best practices.
  • Manage document version control and ensure only the latest approved versions are in use.
  • Provide administrative support for various engineering projects as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Experience with document management systems (e.g., DocuSign, SAP DMS, etc.)
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment
  • Basic understanding of technical terminology or ability to quickly learn industry-specific vocabulary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a documentation role within an engineering, manufacturing, or logistics environment
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies or software (e.g., Jira, Asana)
  • Experience with CAD software or viewing tools
