Job Description
Join Teladoc Health as a Virtual Health Coach Aide and play a pivotal role in supporting individuals on their health and wellness journeys. This entry-level position is perfect for compassionate and motivated individuals eager to make a difference in virtual healthcare. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel. As a Virtual Health Coach Aide, you will assist our health coaches, engage with members, and help facilitate their access to resources and support for chronic condition management, preventive care, and overall well-being. This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and logistical support to senior Virtual Health Coaches.
- Communicate with members via phone, email, and chat to schedule appointments, send reminders, and answer basic non-clinical questions.
- Assist in the preparation of educational materials and resources for member engagement.
- Track member progress and compliance with health plans under coach supervision.
- Maintain accurate and confidential member records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless member experience.
- Escalate complex member inquiries or issues to appropriate health coaches or clinical staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance coaching support skills.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers).
- Empathetic and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a health-related field (e.g., healthcare administration, psychology, nutrition).
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in healthcare.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms or electronic health records (EHR) systems.
