Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Wedding Musician to join our exclusive roster for weekend events in the South Florida area. This role is perfect for talented individuals passionate about creating a captivating atmosphere through music for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions. You will be an integral part of making our clients’ dreams a reality, performing at various prestigious venues primarily in Hialeah and surrounding areas. This contract position offers a high daily rate for weekend work, providing flexibility and excellent compensation for your expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform musical selections as agreed upon with clients and event coordinators for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions.
- Liaise with event staff to ensure seamless musical transitions and timely setup/breakdown.
- Maintain professional demeanor and appearance suitable for high-end events.
- Adhere to event schedules and coordinate with other vendors as needed.
- Ensure all personal equipment is in excellent working condition and transported safely to venues.
- Be available for weekend events, primarily Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Required Skills
- Exceptional musical proficiency on your chosen instrument(s) (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, cello, saxophone, vocalist).
- Extensive repertoire suitable for weddings, including classical, contemporary, jazz, and popular selections.
- Strong ability to read music and/or perform by ear.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Professional stage presence and attire.
- Own reliable transportation and professional-grade equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music Performance or a related field.
- Proven experience performing at weddings or other high-profile events.

- Experience with basic sound amplification and setup.
