Job Description
Stanley Steemer is seeking a motivated and reliable Weekend Carpet Cleaning Aide to join our New Port Richey team. This is a part-time, entry-level position perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in a hands-on role with flexible weekend hours. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. You will work alongside experienced technicians, assisting with the setup, operation, and maintenance of our cleaning equipment, ensuring high-quality service delivery to our valued customers. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians in setting up and operating carpet cleaning equipment.
- Prepare work areas by moving furniture and protecting surrounding surfaces.
- Pre-treat stains and high-traffic areas as instructed.
- Properly clean carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces using Stanley Steemer's patented cleaning methods.
- Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and loaded back onto the truck at the end of each shift.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual, especially for weekend shifts.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred, but not strictly required for aide position).
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Familiarity with Pasco County and surrounding areas.
