Job Description
Join the Stanley Steemer team as a Carpet Cleaning Van Restocker! This essential role ensures our carpet cleaning vans are fully stocked and impeccably clean, ready for our technicians to deliver top-notch service. You will be responsible for accurately filling chemical reservoirs, meticulously washing and coiling hoses, and maintaining an organized inventory of supplies. This is an active, hands-on position requiring attention to detail and a commitment to operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately fill chemical tanks and reservoirs on carpet cleaning vans according to specific formulas and safety guidelines.
- Thoroughly wash, rinse, and coil all hoses, wands, and other cleaning equipment used by technicians.
- Inspect equipment for wear and tear, reporting any damages or malfunctions to management.
- Organize and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Assist with general warehouse cleanliness and organization, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
- Operate pressure washers and other cleaning tools safely and effectively.
- Prepare vans for daily dispatch, ensuring all necessary tools and supplies are present.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in following procedures.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols when handling chemicals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar role.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment or chemical handling.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
