Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Remote Sponsorship Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in Moncton, New Brunswick, or surrounding areas. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying, contacting, and securing sponsorship deals with various brands for events facilitated through the Eventbrite platform or our partner network. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with potential sponsors, negotiating terms, and ensuring seamless integration of sponsorship activations. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of brand partnerships, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the events industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and research potential brand sponsors whose values align with various event types and target audiences.
- Initiate outreach to key decision-makers at target brands through various channels, including email, phone, and professional networking platforms.
- Develop tailored sponsorship proposals and presentations that highlight mutual benefits and value propositions.
- Negotiate sponsorship packages and terms to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with brand partners.
- Collaborate with internal event organizers and marketing teams to ensure successful execution of sponsorship activations.
- Track, manage, and report on all sponsorship activities, pipeline, and secured deals using CRM software.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in event sponsorship.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive approach.
- Proven ability to identify and engage with potential partners or clients.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Google Workspace.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- A strong understanding of brand marketing and event dynamics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Previous experience (2+ years) in sponsorship sales, brand partnerships, or event marketing.
- Existing network of contacts within the marketing or events industry.
- Experience working in a remote-first company culture.
- Fluency in French is an asset, given our global operations.
