Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Automation Engineer with a passion for robotics to join our innovative team in Ontario, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of automation systems, with a specific focus on robotic applications for energy infrastructure.
- Support the integration of robotics into existing operational workflows, including power plants, substations, and field maintenance.
- Conduct research and feasibility studies for new automation and robotics technologies relevant to the energy sector.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to achieve project goals.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and operating procedures.
- Participate in the troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of deployed automation and robotic systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety protocols and operational efficiency through automation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Basic understanding of robotics kinematics, dynamics, and control systems.
- Familiarity with industrial automation platforms (e.g., PLCs, SCADA systems).
- Knowledge of sensors, actuators, and motion control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
