Job Description
We are seeking highly detail-oriented and efficient Home-Based Audio Typists to join our remote team. This is a full-time opportunity offering flexible morning or night shifts to accommodate various schedules. As an Audio Typist, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing audio files into written documents, ensuring high levels of precision, grammar, and punctuation. This role requires excellent listening skills, fast and accurate typing, and a commitment to meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings of varying quality and length into accurate text documents.
- Proofread and edit transcribed documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity.

- Manage time effectively to meet transcription deadlines for assigned projects.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all client information and sensitive data.
- Utilize transcription software and tools proficiently.

Required Skills
- Proven experience in audio transcription or related data entry roles.
- Exceptional listening skills and acute attention to detail.
- Typing speed of at least 60 WPM with high accuracy.
- Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficiency with transcription software and word processing applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home-based setting.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with different audio accents and challenging audio quality.
- Familiarity with industry-specific terminology (e.g., medical, legal, academic).
- Certification in transcription or related administrative fields.
- Experience with Express Scribe or similar professional transcription software.
