Job Description
Liberty Market is seeking enthusiastic and responsible 14-year-old teens to join our kitchen team as a Dishwasher. This is an excellent opportunity for young individuals to gain their first work experience in a fast-paced and friendly restaurant environment. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly, especially during after-school hours. We value hard work, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Store cleaned items in their designated places.
- Assist with basic kitchen cleanup, including sweeping and mopping floors.
- Empty trash bins and maintain a tidy work area.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
Required Skills
- Must be 14 years old (work permit may be required).
- Ability to work after-school shifts.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness principles.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
