Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented WFH Document Reviewer to join our remote team, focusing on legal and financial documentation. In this critical role, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing a wide array of documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and identifying key information pertinent to legal and financial processes. This position requires a strong understanding of legal terminology, financial statements, regulatory requirements, and an exceptional eye for detail. You will play a vital part in supporting various departments by sifting through complex information to extract relevant data, flag discrepancies, and contribute to risk mitigation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough and accurate review of legal and financial documents, including contracts, agreements, regulatory filings, financial statements, and correspondence.
  • Identify, extract, and tag relevant information according to project guidelines and legal/compliance standards.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reviewed materials.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to clarify ambiguities and address identified issues.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols.
  • Meet productivity and quality targets in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • Utilize document review software and other proprietary tools effectively.
  • Provide concise summaries and reports on findings as required.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in document review, legal support, financial operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of legal and financial terminology and concepts.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with e-discovery platforms or document management systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SEC, FINRA, GDPR).
  • Certification in paralegal studies or legal support.
  • Experience in financial services industry document processing.
