Job Description
Are you passionate about helping individuals navigate their professional and personal journeys? Sharp HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Life Path Coordinator to join our team. This unique role, with an option for a 4-day work week, focuses on empowering our employees to achieve their full potential, both within their careers at Sharp and in their personal lives. You will serve as a guide and resource, developing and implementing programs that support career development, personal wellness, and work-life balance. This position requires a blend of empathy, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to build impactful relationships and foster a thriving employee community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive life path and career development programs for employees.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and guidance to employees on career progression, skill development, and personal wellness goals.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions on topics such as stress management, financial planning, resilience, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with HR and departmental leaders to identify employee needs and integrate life path initiatives with broader organizational goals.
- Create and maintain resources and tools to support employee self-development and well-being.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
- Act as a confidential resource for employees seeking guidance on challenging personal or professional situations.
- Facilitate mentorship opportunities and networking events within the organization.
- Champion the 4-day work week option and other flexible work arrangements, demonstrating their benefits and best practices.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Counseling, Organizational Development, or related field.
- Proven experience in career counseling, coaching, or employee development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Counseling, Organizational Psychology).
- Professional coaching certification (e.g., ICF certification).
- Experience within the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and program design.
- Knowledge of current trends in work-life integration and employee wellness.
