Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Junior Offshore Steward to join our team, supporting operations on offshore vessels and platforms. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in the maritime or hospitality sector with a unique work environment. As an Offshore Steward, you will be crucial in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe living and working environment for the crew. All meals and housing will be provided while offshore, allowing you to focus on your responsibilities and personal growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable experience in a dynamic industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties of accommodation areas, cabins, mess halls, galleys, and common spaces.
- Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal clothing.
- Support the catering team with basic galley duties, food preparation, and dishwashing as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and personal protective equipment, reporting needs to supervisors.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Assist with the safe handling and storage of provisions and supplies.
- Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures as required.
- Foster a positive and cooperative atmosphere among crew members.
Required Skills

- Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and carry supplies.

- Basic maritime safety training (e.g., STCW BST, if applicable to vessel type).
