Job Description
Teleperformance is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our internal corporate support team in Humble, TX. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of our IT infrastructure, providing essential support to our corporate employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering servers, networks, and end-user systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance our IT environment’s efficiency and reliability. This is an on-site position requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain corporate IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to internal employees.
- Monitor system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of all IT services.
- Implement and enforce security protocols, data backup, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to support business objectives and projects.
- Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support outside regular business hours.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, MCSA, CCNA).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
- Experience with VoIP systems.
