Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all required training programs to obtain forklift certification.
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and yard.
- Verify counts and ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Assist with inventory management, including stacking and organizing products.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Basic math skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (not required for trainee role).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse safety practices.
