Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all required training programs to obtain forklift certification.
  • Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently under supervision.
  • Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and yard.
  • Verify counts and ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stacking and organizing products.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Basic math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (not required for trainee role).
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of basic warehouse safety practices.
