Job Description
Join the CVS Health team as a Pharmacy Fulfillment Tech with a specialized focus on sorting and shipping. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of prescription medications to our patients. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to efficiency will be vital in maintaining our high standards of service. Key Responsibilities
- Sort and stage prescription orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy against manifest documents.
- Verify patient information and prescription details to prevent errors during the shipping process.
- Operate automated dispensing and sorting equipment as required.
- Package medications securely and efficiently, adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and communicate replenishment needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the fulfillment area.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
- Collaborate with other pharmacy staff to ensure a smooth workflow and resolve any issues.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, fulfillment center, or warehouse setting
- Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT)
- Experience with automated pharmacy systems or shipping software
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
