Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Pallet Truck Operator to join our distribution center in Dundee. This is an immediate hire position, ideal for individuals seeking simple, straightforward tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. No prior experience is strictly required as full training will be provided, making this an excellent entry point into logistics. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving goods and materials using a pallet truck, ensuring the smooth flow of operations and contributing to our team’s success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a manual or electric pallet truck to move, stack, and retrieve products and materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring accurate product placement and damage prevention.
  • Assist with the organization and tidiness of the warehouse, maintaining clear aisles and walkways.
  • Perform routine safety checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Support inventory management by ensuring materials are placed in designated areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and meet deadlines.

Required Skills

  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety principles.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Physical capability to lift and move objects as required (up to 20kg).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating a pallet truck (manual or electric) is a plus, but not essential.
  • Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems.
