Job Description

Join Microsoft as an Online Moderator Junior, focusing on creating and maintaining a safe and positive online environment for our 14-year-old teen users. In this crucial role, you will be on the front lines, reviewing user-generated content, moderating live interactions, and enforcing community guidelines to protect our younger audience. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor user-generated content across various platforms (forums, chat, user submissions) to ensure compliance with community guidelines and safety policies.
  • Proactively identify and address inappropriate or harmful content, including cyberbullying, harassment, and other violations, with sensitivity and adherence to strict protocols.
  • Respond to user reports and escalations related to content and behavior, taking appropriate action promptly and documenting findings accurately.
  • Collaborate with senior moderators and policy teams to refine moderation practices and contribute to the development of safer online experiences for young users.
  • Stay informed about current trends in online youth culture, digital safety best practices, and relevant child protection laws (e.g., COPPA).
  • Maintain detailed records of moderation actions, insights, and unusual activity patterns for reporting and analysis.

Required Skills
