Job Description

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Aide to join our team in Banff. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist freight forwarders with daily operational tasks, including data entry, documentation, and communication with carriers and clients.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, such as bills of lading, customs declarations, and commercial invoices.
  • Track and trace shipments, providing updates to clients and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with warehousing, transportation, and customs brokerage departments to ensure smooth freight movement.
  • Maintain accurate records and files for all shipments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, escalating complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
  • Support the team in resolving operational challenges and identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Learn and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
