Job Description
Seeking a compassionate and calming individual to serve as our Meditation Room Host. This unique part-time role is crucial in maintaining a tranquil and supportive environment for guests utilizing our dedicated meditation space. You will be the silent guardian of peace, ensuring the room is always ready for reflection and relaxation, and providing gentle assistance to guests as needed. This is an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of others in a truly serene setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and pristine condition of the meditation room.
- Ensure all meditation aids (cushions, blankets, aromatherapy diffusers) are organized and available.
- Monitor guest entry and exit, providing a quiet and welcoming presence.
- Offer brief, gentle introductions to the room's facilities and etiquette for new guests.
- Address any immediate guest needs or concerns quietly and efficiently, escalating as necessary.
- Restock supplies and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Uphold the serene ambiance by ensuring appropriate lighting, temperature, and sound levels.
Required Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a calming demeanor.
- Strong sense of discretion and respect for privacy.
- Ability to work independently and manage a tranquil space.
- Excellent organizational and cleanliness standards.
- Basic computer literacy for scheduling/reporting.
- Genuine interest in wellness and mindfulness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or wellness environments.
- Familiarity with meditation practices or mindfulness techniques.
- CPR and First Aid certification (optional but a plus).
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish, common in Florida).
