Job Description

We are seeking a highly intuitive and analytical Social Media Sentiment Guru to join our dynamic marketing and communications team. In this hybrid role, you will be the ultimate authority on understanding and interpreting public sentiment across various social media platforms, providing critical insights that shape our brand strategy and product development. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced social media listening strategies to monitor brand perception, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct in-depth sentiment analysis across a wide range of social media conversations, identifying key themes, emotions, and influential voices.
  • Translate complex data and sentiment insights into clear, actionable recommendations for marketing, product, and PR teams.
  • Proactively identify potential reputational risks and opportunities, advising on rapid response strategies.
  • Contribute to the refinement of our social media content strategy based on sentiment analysis, ensuring resonance and positive engagement.
  • Utilize AI and machine learning tools for enhanced sentiment analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on best practices in social media monitoring and sentiment analysis.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in social media listening and analytics tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Meltwater).
  • Proven ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative sentiment analysis.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of major social media platforms and their algorithms.
  • Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
  • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Certifications in social media analytics or digital marketing.
  • Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Demonstrated success in influencing brand strategy through sentiment insights.
