Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistic Specialist to join our FedEx Ground team in Pasco, Washington. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of packages through our network. You will be responsible for coordinating various logistics operations, optimizing routes, managing inventory, and collaborating with a diverse team to meet our delivery commitments. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily ground logistics operations, including package sorting, loading, and dispatching.
  • Monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues or delays that may arise.
  • Optimize delivery routes and schedules to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and delivery metrics.
  • Collaborate with drivers, package handlers, and other operational staff to ensure seamless processes.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the logistics hub.
  • Utilize logistics software and systems for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of more effective logistics strategies.
  • Provide exceptional support to internal and external stakeholders regarding logistical inquiries.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation operations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS).
  • Knowledge of FedEx Ground operations and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
