Job Description

Are you eager to launch a career in finance and accounting but lack direct experience? KPMG Canada is offering a unique opportunity for a Remote Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level position designed for motivated individuals who are ready to learn on the job from experienced professionals. You will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting operations, gaining hands-on experience with financial record-keeping, data entry, and administrative tasks. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, ledger maintenance, and transaction recording.
  • Learn and apply accounting principles under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries as required.
  • Organize and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding financial information.
  • Utilize accounting software and tools efficiently after training.
  • Adhere to company policies and financial regulations.
