Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Private Estate Driver to provide safe, reliable, and discreet transportation for a private estate in Garland, Texas. This unique opportunity includes housing potential for a live-in arrangement. The ideal candidate will possess an impeccable driving record, strong knowledge of local routes, and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and scheduling. Discretion, punctuality, and a service-oriented mindset are paramount for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and efficient transportation for principals and their guests to various destinations.
- Maintain a clean, polished, and fully operational fleet of luxury vehicles, including regular cleaning, fueling, and scheduling maintenance/repairs.
- Plan efficient routes, considering traffic patterns, road conditions, and security protocols.
- Assist with luggage and other items as needed, ensuring a comfortable experience for passengers.
- Manage vehicle registration, insurance, and inspection renewals.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all aspects of the estate's operations and principals' activities.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist with other household duties or errands as requested, demonstrating flexibility and a 'can-do' attitude.
- Ensure the security and privacy of the estate during transport and while on duty.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a private estate or executive setting.
- Impeccable driving record with no accidents or violations.
- Valid driver's license and relevant endorsements (if applicable).
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and local area knowledge of Garland and the wider Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of luxury vehicle operation and basic maintenance.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Punctual, reliable, and highly organized.
Preferred Qualifications
- Defensive driving or advanced driver training certification.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience with armored vehicles or security protocols.
- Prior live-in experience in a private household.
- Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish).
