Job Description
Join the G’s Fresh team as a Summer Harvest Operative and play a crucial role in bringing in this season’s bounty. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking for seasonal work with the added benefit of an all-expenses-paid option, covering accommodation, travel, and food. You’ll work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing directly to the success of our harvest operations. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking individuals eager to contribute to a successful harvest season in Norwich, Norfolk.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in the manual harvesting of various fresh produce according to quality standards and efficiency targets.
- Operate and monitor harvesting equipment under supervision, ensuring safe and effective use.
- Sort, grade, and pack harvested produce directly in the field.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of daily tasks.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
- Report any issues with equipment or produce quality promptly.
- Adhere to food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
