Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shopify B2B Specialist to join our dynamic team in Kanata. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management, optimization, and growth of our wholesale portals built on the Shopify platform. This includes configuring B2B features, managing customer segmentation, optimizing order workflows, and ensuring a seamless experience for our wholesale clients. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align B2B strategies with overall business objectives and drive revenue growth through our wholesale channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all aspects of our Shopify B2B wholesale portals, including customer accounts, pricing, product catalogs, and order management.
  • Configure and optimize Shopify B2B features, apps, and integrations to enhance wholesale functionality and user experience.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to onboard new wholesale clients and provide ongoing support and training on the B2B portal.
  • Analyze B2B sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement and test new features, promotions, and strategies to increase wholesale conversion rates and average order value.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for B2B processes, best practices, and system configurations.
  • Stay up-to-date with Shopify platform updates, B2B industry trends, and new technologies to ensure our wholesale operations remain competitive and efficient.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for complex B2B client inquiries and technical support related to the wholesale portal.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience managing and optimizing Shopify stores, with a strong focus on Shopify B2B or wholesale operations.
  • In-depth understanding of B2B e-commerce best practices, customer segmentation, and pricing strategies.
  • Proficiency in Shopify's admin panel and experience with relevant Shopify apps for wholesale functionality.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and external clients.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Shopify Partner Certification or relevant e-commerce certifications.
  • Experience with other CRM or ERP systems integrated with Shopify.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic Liquid templating for minor theme adjustments.
  • Prior experience in a retail or wholesale environment.
