Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Hardware Support Technician with a specific focus on in-home repair for our valued Concentrix clients. This role involves traveling to customer residences within the Highlands Ranch and greater Denver metropolitan area to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various hardware issues. You will be the face of Concentrix, providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to ensure client satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for helping others in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer homes within a designated service area to perform hardware diagnostics and repairs.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of hardware malfunctions for computers, peripherals, and other consumer electronics.
  • Provide clear, concise, and friendly communication to customers regarding technical issues and repair processes.
  • Manage a schedule of service appointments, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.
  • Accurately document all service calls, repairs performed, and parts used in our system.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working in customer homes.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment necessary for daily operations.
  • Continuously update technical knowledge and skills to keep up with evolving hardware technologies.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hardware repair or technical support.
  • Strong understanding of PC architecture, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common hardware components.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing desktops, laptops, and related peripherals.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various home environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ or other relevant IT certifications.
  • Previous experience in an in-home service or field technician role.
  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
