Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable EA Sports FC Specialist with a global soccer focus to join our team in Honolulu. This role involves deeply understanding the EA Sports FC franchise, analyzing global soccer trends, engaging with our player community, and contributing to content strategies that enhance the game experience. You will act as a key liaison between the development team and the player base, providing critical insights and fostering a vibrant community around the world’s most popular sport.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the EA Sports FC franchise, with a particular focus on global soccer leagues, teams, and players.
- Monitor and analyze global soccer trends, news, and community sentiment to inform game development and marketing strategies.
- Engage directly with the EA Sports FC player community through various channels (forums, social media, events) to gather feedback and foster positive relationships.
- Create engaging content (articles, social media posts, videos) that highlights game features, soccer culture, and community initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, and development teams to ensure consistent messaging and community satisfaction.
- Provide detailed reports on player feedback, game performance, and competitor analysis.
- Represent EA Sports FC at industry events, fan gatherings, and community activations as needed.
Required Skills
- Deep, demonstrable passion and expertise in global soccer and the EA Sports FC (or FIFA) franchise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, community feedback, and market trends.
- Proven ability to engage and manage online communities effectively.
- Experience with content creation tools and platforms (e.g., video editing, graphic design, social media management).
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in community management, social media management, or product specialization within the gaming or sports industry.
- Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Japanese) is a plus, given the global focus.
