Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Seasonal Dock Worker. This is a temporary position with the potential for extended employment, perfect for those looking for robust physical work in a fast-paced environment. As a Dock Worker, you will be responsible for the efficient loading, unloading, and sorting of packages within our facility. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Key Responsibilities
- Manually load and unload packages from trailers and conveyors
- Sort packages efficiently by destination and verify accuracy of labels
- Operate material handling equipment safely and responsibly (training provided)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely package processing
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 75 lbs without assistance
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing stairs for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Basic communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or physical labor role
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other powered industrial trucks
