Job Description
Are you looking for a low-stress, independent part-time role that fits perfectly into your weekend schedule? Kaladi Brothers Coffee is seeking a reliable and friendly Part-time Kiosk Attendant for our Fairbanks location. This solo weekend position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently in a relaxed environment, ensuring our customers start their weekend with a smile and a great cup of coffee. You’ll be responsible for the smooth operation of our kiosk, handling sales, preparing simple coffee drinks, and maintaining a clean and inviting space. No prior experience is necessary – we’re looking for dependability and a positive attitude!
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the coffee kiosk independently during weekend shifts.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service.
- Prepare and serve basic coffee and beverage items according to Kaladi Brothers standards.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using a POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kiosk area, including light cleaning and restocking.
- Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs.
- Open and close the kiosk following established procedures.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Reliability and punctuality for all scheduled shifts.
- Basic math and cash handling abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Availability to work weekend shifts (Saturdays and/or Sundays).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, food service, or kiosk environment (though not required).
- Familiarity with coffee preparation.
- Alaska Food Handler's Card (or willingness to obtain one).
