Job Description

Are you passionate about film and television content and meticulous about data accuracy? Netflix is seeking a Junior Title Analyst to join our Catalog Management team in Houston, Texas. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and completeness of metadata for our extensive content library. You will work closely with various teams to maintain the integrity of the Netflix catalog, directly contributing to a seamless and enjoyable experience for millions of subscribers worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional to gain hands-on experience in content operations within a dynamic and innovative global company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain content metadata for a wide range of titles in the Netflix catalog.
  • Perform quality control checks on existing and incoming title data to ensure consistency and adherence to established guidelines.
  • Research and verify information related to titles, including cast, crew, genre, release dates, and synopses.
  • Collaborate with content acquisition, localization, and product teams to resolve data discrepancies and improve catalog integrity.
  • Identify and report systematic issues or areas for process improvement in metadata management workflows.
  • Assist in the creation and refinement of metadata best practices and documentation.
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests related to catalog health.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with content management systems (CMS) or digital asset management (DAM) platforms.
  • Familiarity with film/TV industry terminology and content workflows.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Passion for movies and TV series.
