Job Description
As a Morning Shuttle Chauffeur for our Early Bird Roster, you will be a vital part of EmpireCLS, ensuring our clients experience punctual, safe, and comfortable transportation during the crucial early morning hours. This role requires exceptional driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to navigate Brooklyn and the wider New York City area efficiently. You will be responsible for transporting passengers on pre-scheduled routes, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually operate company vehicles on designated early morning shuttle routes.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with luggage and ensuring a pleasant ride.
- Maintain vehicles in pristine condition, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients as required.
- Manage time efficiently to meet tight schedules.
Required Skills
- Valid New York State Driver's License (Class E or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of New York City and Brooklyn routes and traffic patterns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 lbs.
- Punctual and reliable with a professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a chauffeur or in luxury transportation.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation software.
- Customer service training or certification.
- Ability to work flexible early morning hours, including weekends and holidays.
