Job Description

As a Relationship Banker specializing in high-end clients, you will be instrumental in managing and growing relationships with our most valued clients in the South Bend area. This role demands a deep understanding of complex financial needs, a proactive approach to client engagement, and the ability to offer comprehensive banking and wealth management solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and tailored strategies to meet their financial goals. Success in this position requires a blend of sales acumen, financial expertise, and a commitment to building long-term, profitable relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all banking and financial needs.
  • Proactively identify client financial goals and challenges, offering suitable JPMorgan Chase products and services including investments, loans, and wealth management solutions.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to ensure portfolios align with their evolving objectives and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal partners such as Wealth Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Business Bankers to deliver integrated financial advice.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets by expanding client relationships and acquiring new high-value clients.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all compliance, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with financial market trends, economic conditions, and industry best practices to provide informed guidance to clients.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, relationship management, or sales with a focus on high-net-worth individuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and grow client relationships through proactive engagement and needs-based selling.
  • Strong understanding of a broad range of financial products, including deposits, lending, and investment vehicles.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and service goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and standard office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant industry licenses/certifications (e.g., Series 6, Series 63, Series 7, NMLS).
  • Master's degree or advanced certification (e.g., CFP, CFA).
  • Established professional network within the South Bend community.
  • Experience working with affluent or ultra-high-net-worth client segments.
