Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mobile Valeting Assistant to join our team in Acomb, York. This role is crucial in maintaining the pristine condition of our diverse fleet, ensuring our vehicles always make a positive impression on our customers. You will be provided with a company van to travel to various client sites or designated locations, performing high-quality interior and exterior valeting services. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive interior and exterior valeting of a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, and potentially small trucks.
- Travel efficiently to client locations, rental branches, or specific sites as scheduled, utilizing the provided company van.
- Manage and maintain valeting supplies, equipment, and chemicals, ensuring stock levels are appropriate and tools are in good working order.
- Adhere strictly to all company health and safety guidelines and environmental regulations during valeting operations.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during all on-site interactions, representing Enterprise Rent-A-Car positively.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and readiness of the company-provided valeting van at all times.
- Conduct initial inspections for vehicle damage or maintenance needs, reporting findings accurately and promptly to the relevant department.
Required Skills
- A valid UK Driving License with a clean record (no more than 6 penalty points).
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interactions.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform valeting tasks, including bending, stretching, kneeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior professional experience in vehicle valeting, detailing, or a similar car care role.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products, equipment, and advanced valeting techniques.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role within the automotive or service industry.
