Job Description

Carey International is seeking highly motivated individuals for our Executive Transport Cadet – Paid Apprenticeship program in New Port Richey, Florida. This is a unique opportunity for aspiring professionals with little to no prior experience to gain comprehensive training and hands-on experience in executive chauffeured services. As a Cadet, you will undergo a structured program designed to develop your skills in safe driving, advanced navigation, customer service, vehicle maintenance, and the discreet art of executive client handling. This paid apprenticeship offers a direct pathway to a rewarding career as a professional Chauffeur with Carey International, a global leader in premium ground transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all aspects of the structured apprenticeship program, including classroom and on-the-road training.
- Learn and apply advanced defensive driving techniques, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Master the use of navigation systems and local area knowledge to efficiently plan routes and avoid delays.
- Develop impeccable customer service skills, including proper etiquette, communication, and client discretion.
- Assist with pre-trip vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks, and ensure vehicles are meticulously clean and prepared.
- Understand and adhere to Carey International's brand standards, ensuring a premium experience for every client.
- Shadow experienced chauffeurs to observe best practices in executive transport operations.
- Complete all assigned tasks and assessments to demonstrate proficiency in core competencies.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
