Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Google Workspace Support Specialist to join our global team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your home office. You will be responsible for providing expert technical support, troubleshooting, and administration for Google Workspace applications, ensuring a seamless and productive experience for our internal users worldwide. This role requires a strong understanding of Google Workspace suite and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for all Google Workspace applications including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Chat, and Admin Console.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to access, configuration, data synchronization, and application functionality.
- Manage user accounts, groups, and organizational units within the Google Workspace Admin Console.
- Develop and maintain documentation for common issues, resolutions, and best practices.
- Conduct user training sessions and create instructional materials to enhance user proficiency with Google Workspace.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure optimal performance and security of Google Workspace.
- Monitor service health dashboards and proactively address potential issues.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing technical support for Google Workspace (formerly G Suite).
- Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Google Docs Editors.
- Strong understanding of Google Workspace security best practices and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Workspace Administrator certification.
- Experience with scripting (e.g., Google Apps Script) for automation.
- Familiarity with identity management systems (e.g., Okta, Azure AD) integration with Google Workspace.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience in a large enterprise or managed services environment.
