Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Weekend Hotel Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This part-time role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment. This position offers consistent weekend shifts and the convenience of weekly direct deposit.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items promptly.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage linen inventory and handle soiled linens properly.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and assist colleagues as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, push, and pull.
- Reliability and punctuality for weekend shifts.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
