Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team in La Jolla, San Diego. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in compliance and regulatory affairs, with a specific focus on legal matters pertinent to major digital entertainment platforms like Netflix. The successful candidate will support our legal teams in ensuring adherence to relevant laws, policies, and industry best practices. This “Smart Work” position encourages flexibility and efficiency in a hybrid office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and interpreting regulatory developments affecting the digital entertainment and media industry.
- Conduct legal research related to content licensing, intellectual property, data privacy, and platform compliance for major streaming services.
- Support the development and implementation of internal compliance policies and procedures.
- Prepare compliance reports, presentations, and training materials.
- Collaborate with internal legal teams and external counsel on compliance-related projects.
- Help investigate potential compliance issues and breaches.
- Maintain accurate and organized compliance documentation.
