This is a critical, on-call position offering emergency pay rates, perfect for those looking for temporary, flexible work during the winter months. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and accessibility of commercial properties during snow and ice events. Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to on-call requests for snow and ice removal during winter weather events.
- Manually shovel snow from sidewalks, pathways, entrances, and other designated areas.
- Apply de-icing materials to prevent slips and falls.
- Operate small hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with other crew members to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while on client properties.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including heavy lifting, bending, and shoveling for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to reach job sites on short notice, often during adverse weather conditions.
