Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Car Valeter / Wash Attendant to join our busy team in Nuneaton. This is an immediate start, full-time position offering a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for making vehicles shine. You will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles, both new and used, are presented to the highest standards, ready for display or customer handover. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles, including vacuuming, polishing, and waxing.
- Wash and dry vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and address any areas requiring further attention.
- Apply protective coatings and treatments as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the valeting bay and equipment.
- Manage stock of cleaning products and notify management when supplies are low.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Safely move vehicles around the dealership site as needed.
Required Skills
- Full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently and to a high standard under pressure.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate equipment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a car valeting or detailing role.
- Familiarity with various car cleaning products and techniques.
- Understanding of vehicle care and maintenance.
